Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

If we’re focusing on the apprenticeship I do work online relating to laws and regulations relating to customers of hospitality businesses in general. I also have to partake in a certain amount of off the job hours which I complete during my regular working hours. These are mainly anything to do with training.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Well working overnights in general is exhausting outside of work so I don’t enjoy that however the apprenticeship is better as I’m allowed to come in at a normal time and leave at a normal time.

Yes, I’ve developed my writing and discussion skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Once a month we have a day set for work so it’s ok I’d like more so I don’t have to work overnight but beggars can’t be choosers. But the session itself is just working in what we need with the support there available.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From McDonald’s themselves not much well at least at my personal store, they don’t really seem to care too much and schedule meetings close to my overnights which makes me tired half the time. From lifetime themselves, yes I fell very much supported by them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive as much as I need.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand customers better and I can point out things I’ve learnt.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes we have a work ‘do’ twice a year.
