Working on working papers on various section such as cash, revenue etc. Communicating with clients to request documents or discussing any queries, and working with the team/ being coached on the working papers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy working with the team and trying to figure out any problems together, there is always someone to help which I really enjoy.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to communicate with clients and how to use different working papers, and have developed my excel skills learning multiple shortcuts.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organized as we have a schedule of what clients we are working on knowing long in advance which client and the team members also working on it, as well as our study being incorporated into the schedule
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We get coached by seniors or assistant managers when we start a job, going through what they expect from us and how to tackle the working papers
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have college where we will be able to ask questions relating to the course and there is an email where we ask any queries as well. We also have quarterly progress review calls
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps manage time studying and working, and also the skills and behaviour sessions discuss the soft skills which can be applied to the workplace
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have socials every month, one in the mk office which is every team or in London with the audit team with the London and sutton office as well. We are able to feedback on the socials and recommend new activities we could try

The culture is very nice, everyone's friendly and always willing to help, with the focus on team work and collaboration making it a nice environment to grow. In addition, to the numerous opportunities to work with new people and network.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Forvis Mazars?
Make sure that you are willing to travel as you will need to be able to travel, and make sure to be yourself!
