Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Looking after the project team, the project log which includes the RAID log. managing risks. communication with stakeholders (stakeholder management).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working with different people, learning on the job, and putting my learning into practice. It would help if I experienced different roles in project management and not just one side of it. Learning different projects not just the projects in software.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed communication skills and stakeholder management. I have learnt change control, risk management, using a RACI matrix, RAID log. Understanding technicalities.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

At the beginning it wasn't organised at all. It took over 6/8 months of my course to work on a project. But moving into a different part of the business really helped, had better management and more experiences. QA the training provide had miss communication and poor tutors at the start but now the tutors are amazing.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

BT is the best company I have come across for extra curricular activities, I get involved with as much as possible to network with as many people as I can.

They value you as a person and not just a number at the company, they have helped me with my neurodiversity's, and they are great coaches to help you to perform at your best and exceed in other roles.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
Just be yourself and don't pretend to be someone you are not, they go off your strengths even if you can't see them strengths yourself, they will.
