Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Learn from and assist Maintenance engineers with various different jobs on site, jobs include mechanical jobs, Electrical jobs. Jobs can be preventative such as servicing and repairing when a break down occurs, or a project for continuous improvement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme to a large extent, the company is brilliant and one of the best in its field, my colleagues are very friendly and passionate to share knowledge and give helpful tips and tricks. I have felt welcomed here at Schneider Electric since my first day.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have learnt many new techniques and technical skills whilst gaining real word knowledge.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured and organised both in terms of college assignments and my Level 3 NVQ, my college assessor plays a big part in organising and making sure I am gaining the right valuable experience for my apprenticeship

My employer is very supportive and ensures I have the right support and tools in order to be able to learn and do my jobs as best as I can
