Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a work coach that helps customers to find work (or more hours) and may give them tasks to do. I speak to claimants on daily basis to get updates on there work search activities.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Overall am having a really good time learning about different aspects of working in Operation Delivery.

Yes i have learnt a lot in regards to working in operation delivery , providing excellent customer service , about equality diversity and inclusion, about information management , GDPR , productive working etc

I think overall its pretty well constructed and planned around the learning needs of claimant.

My line manager is supportive overall.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are supportive apart from some of the learning plans that i struggled to understand and complete myself that i think they should provide support on.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think understanding customer needs and working as a Team are one of the many good things that i learned via this Apprenticeship.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes not many as this is a customer facing role but we do organise some fun activities once a month.

I have been a part of civil service from the last 5 years almost and they offer a great work life balance , they understand your needs and are supportive thorough out , i am proud to be small part of DWP.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Department for Work and Pensions?
I think working on your Application form , learning properly about the role and understanding about what new they can bring to the role helps.
