Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work in loan servicing, a team within CBRE's Capital Advisory business. We are the facility agents between a bank and a borrower, ensuring that the money is handled correctly and compliantly. My day to day role includes analysing the loan agreements, setting up documents in excel and responding to borrower queries.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I find the programme to be very enjoyable. The workload is reflective of the effort you put in, and it requires discipline to stay on top of your tasks, but the work is very rewarding- my team is appreciative and very supportive,
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My Excel skills have massively improved, along with learning how to extract critical dates from large documents. My ability to prioritise and handle a large workload has also been strengthened.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The NextGen team are great. I have never been confused about the structure of our arrangements, and they are always available to clarify any questions. My team are also set up very well to support me as an apprentice.

The UCEM course is easy to navigate, and there are regular calls scheduled with AOOs who help with any uni related queries,

My role is quite different to the course at the moment, but in future rotations I will apply my knowledge
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are loads- Rugby, rowing, badminton, padel, hockey etc. As well as multiple societies who meet regularly
