Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day-day I work with some of the biggest clients, helping advise them with their real-estate needs. Daily, I am talking with clients to understand their requirements, to understand their wants and needs and to provide detailed reports then later touring the options with them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme at CBRE is incredible. Being a part of the biggest and best real-estate company is life changing. The culture and work environment is next to none with CBRE being truly one team.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The most important skill I have developed is communication. Being able to understand different personalities and how they like to be emailed, called and spoken to. This has helped develop bonds with our clients, where they trust me to deliver the best service possible.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Being such a large company you would assume that organisation is hard, however CBRE shows with a plan and communication it is easy. How each teams are divided and with the leadership structure, it allows a short path of communication to the top.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

At CBRE we receive an incredible amount of support, whether that is with our networks which allow you to talk with people or just support from the senior members of the company. Although it may be scary, anyone at CBRE is happy to have a chat and give you support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The amount of support from our training provider is beyond enough. With regular checks and advise you are never left alone. Having to balance work and qualifications is hard but with the support it gives you reassurance and belief you can do it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe it helps a lot. Having the knowledge allows me to put it into practice when asked a hard question I may have not known about if it was not for my qualification. It gives you a sense of confidence when talking with a client.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Luckily for us being such a large company there are plenty of teams that will match with at least one of your interests. We have an abundance of networks that allow you to meet new people as well as various sports teams.

Yes
Why?
For me CBRE is the company to be in for real estate. Being able to work with the best in the market and getting exposure to so many different clients. The facilities at CBRE are best in class and drives me to be in the office, with everyone treating each other like family.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CBRE Group?
I would advise people to try get as much as experience as possible to help understand the market better. In addition, I would advise them to be different, CBRE has so many applications and you want to stand out, show why you are better than the thousands applying.
