My role includes assisting with projects in many different aspects such as dealing with costs, going on site to assess works completed and negotiating with contractors.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Id say its very enjoyable in the sense there's a lot of variety in what I do on a daily basis, and the facts that there's a lot of opportunity to work on mega exciting projects across the country.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learn man skills, such as how to raise different types of payment, Ive learnt how to use excel at a much higher level and Ive developed on how to negotiate with different types of people with more confidence

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured from how work is organised from the manager, how the work and uni interrelate and the fact that there is also frequent development sessions contributes towards a very good structure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support whether its from colleagues at the same level as me or from my manager or from people higher up. Theirs always someone there to assist you and everyone is always happy to support in anyway possible.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support I receive for my qualifications comes from my manager, other colleagues, and from special sessions the company organises every few weeks to gain the best understanding and equip us with the knowledge needed to gain our qualifications.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Training for the qualification through uni helps to better understand some of the concepts that happen at work, and help me to better understand the more technical educational side of things,

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace?
Id say mace values a lot on how you are as a person, whether you will get on well with a team and how well you communicate on a professional and social level with other colleagues.
