Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a front of house team member. My role is to provide our guest with an excellent service. Everyone guest come for the steak experience and as a steak expert, it is my role to make sure they experience it at 100%
I helped the guest with their steak choice by giving them steak recommendations and wine pairing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was very helpful and instructive. I leaned a lot.
I really enjoyed it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learned how to provide an effective costumer service. Learned how to make sale that align with the guest desire.
I improve my communication and my ability to work in a team with people from different backgrounds.
I improved my sales skills and learned how to market a product to a guest based on their taste.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My coach was amazing. He was always available for me and gave me some good instructions.
The program was easy to follow because of Lifetime.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My supervisor was an ex apprentice so she helped me a lot and make sure to answer all the questions I had.
My manager helped me with my business project by providing me my subject and gave me time to work on it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot. My coach has been the most helpful, he was always there for me and always answering my questions.
He didn’t hesitate to keep me when I moved jobs. I left Nando’s for Miller and carter. I am very grateful to him and his professionalism during the whole course.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I learned about the customer demand and their relationship to a product. This helped me narrow what the guests are looking for when they come to our premises, it helped me with sales and recommendations to the guests.
