Supporting project managers in delivering projects. Governance and assurance on the project portfolio. Schedule management and cost control.

I find it enjoyable. It is challenging but manageable

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed lots of new soft skills e.g. time management and communication. Technical skills too like using scheduling tools and proficiency in excel and the Power Platform.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Work may not always be aligned with the current module I am studying but the people/resources are available if needed to support. Quarterly catch-ups between employer and training provider to raise concerns

It helps to understand best practice in theory for a lot of the work that I carry out. Helps to improve processes at MAG.

We regularyly have opportunities arise for away days or nights out. Taken part in ORAT testing and been to the project controls expo
