Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Project based work. I manage and monitor around 2 projects daily. I also get tasks from my manager to complete randomly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I think it is great to be able to work alongside learning. There is plenty of time to do your apprenticeship depending on what role you are in so you only work your dedicated work hours.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Project based skills. Communication, stakeholder confidence, excel, scheduling, estimating, monitoring, finances etc

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Now this can vary. I would say there was lots of structure at the start of the apprenticeship as the early careers team would be very helpful guiding you. However as you progress throughout the apprenticeship there is no guidance from the job but there is guidance through the apprenticeship side and through your training provider.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
As said previously this varies. It depends what manager you get, mine has been helpful but the training mainly comes from the effort you put in to learn and find.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Lots honestly I can email them whenever and their responses are within the same day.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel that I am as qualified as my colleagues who have done the job for ages! Honestly though I think it has been a great learning experience and has enabled me to perform my role really well.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are social activities and professional networking events through the apprentice council but these are not that frequent.
