To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy everything about my apprenticeship, the challenges i face, my managers and team are super friendly and helpful. i slowly gain more responsibilities as i learn and develop my skill set

how to use Excel in a very in depth level, how too use different types of accounting systems and querying models. improved on my communication, planning, analysing, creative, numerical skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

i have a structured learning plan for my apprenticeship course, during work i have weekly meetings with my managers to see how i got on for the week and what i can expect for the next, along with any questions they or i have
How much support do you receive from your employer?

a lot of support is given, i have weekly meetings with my line manager and with my team manager. i see them both everyday that i go to the office. along this everyone in my team is always there if i need help
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

my tutor is always on call. my learning is live online sessions with interactive question, feels just like in person learning. they are always on call if need help explaining certain questions or topics.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

it provides the foundation of what i need to know to start understanding what my team disguss in our daily huddles and what they do in their day to day work. my qualification is needed to be in the role i am given. it helps understanding the role in better detail
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there is work events after hours or just before after hours, there is many networking events to get into. in the office there is games rooms where you can set up a small social with team members/colleagues to left off some steam during lunch or after hours which is always fun

Why?
for me it has been one of the best experiences of my life. i have got into a profession i have dreamed about and every step of the way was enjoyable. being in the role is challenging but rewarding. i always have support and i can ask for less or more work depending in how i feel i am progressing
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
know your stuff. make sure you have an understanding about NatWest's purpose and values. look a bit deeper into your role you are applying for and ask 1 or 2 questions about the deeper understanding. and give some detail of a small amount of the area you researched that is not expected of you yet, this will impress your interviewer and show you have looked into the role past what is expected
