My day to day is to do general maintenance and conducting reactive tasks when I need too. I’m based on site and I do not travel.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I feel the apprentice team need to play a bigger role, I didn’t realise we had a lunch allowance which could have saved me about £250. There is another apprentice who never knew for his time at college and could have saved him £1500+

I have developed many skills whilst working at BAM thanks to my mentors. They have taught me a lot

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have not once had a one on one chat with the apprentice team, what do they do? There is a team dedicated to apprentices in the uk and only after this survey came out have I heard anything from them. They need to step up there game and actually get involved.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I like my employer, I enjoy working with my colleagues and my management I only have positive things to say about the people I work with
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel they should provide extra training as well as the apprenticeship, like a cherry picker licence would be so handy to have but yet they don’t really want to put apprentices on these sort of things.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My training provider is okay. I don’t have anything negative nor positive about them
