Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Assisting and leading Sale Coordination alongside the Dec Arts team for our live and online auctions. This includes monitoring the auction process from consignment to sale, communicating with stakeholders and organising and updating the sale information using a range of systems.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I definitely enjoy my Level 3 Apprenticeship programme. Christies has lots of opportunities and no two days in the office are the same, I am extremely grateful that I have got to seen some incredible pieces of art! My apprenticeship has been equally enjoyable, and has pushed my out of my comfort zone through doing presentations and my final project, and I have learnt an enormous amount since starting my apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt how to give exceptional client service, as well as prioritisation and organisation when handling multiple different pieces of work/tasks. I have developed my communication skills and my project management skills through both my work at Christies as well as my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I am able to have set days during the working week where I complete my apprenticeship work, and this is structured with the help of my Line Manager and Apprenticeship coach to ensure that I am able to balance my apprenticeship work and my work at Christies.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I definitely have a network of support at Christies, whether that be my Line Manager and team or my fellow apprentices. I feel comfortable to ask for support if needed, but regular meetings with colleagues ensure that there is time to discuss my progress and support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
A lot - regular workshops and 1-1 meetings with my Apprenticeship coach allowed me to receive guidance and feedback on all of my work. In addition to this, my apprenticeship coach was available to contact 9-5 so that if I encountered any queries whilst completing my work she was able to support me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification definitely helps me to perform better in my role, as the knowledge that I have learnt can be directly applied in the office, as well as the skills that I have learnt such as project management.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes - lots! There are lots of charity events such as 5 a side football and the Christmas stalls, as well as other events such as People week, where last year there was a potluck lunch where everybody got involved and came together over some delicious food! There are also groups at Christies who facilitate discussion over different topics, such as the Augusta Group. There are plenty of social activities as well, both within my Apprentice cohort and company wide.
