To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship and have enjoyed learning more about the coaching process and techniques involved, the different coaching models etc. that have helped me with my job and with coaching my peers.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have gained a Generalist Debt Advisor qualification and have learnt new skills around debt management and negotiating with creditors.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured - BUD is easy to use and I know what I need to have done and when by, and it's a good way of messaging my Tutor too. The only issue I have had is with workshops being cancelled and rearranged, but I appreciate sometimes this is unavoidable, but it can be difficult to rearrange my diary around the dates and times.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received support when I needed coachees as the L&D team helped me to secure one and my immediate line manager leaves me to get on with it and juggle my diary accordingly. I have a lot of freedom and have been able to complete a lot of work off the job.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I previously had Amy and she was brilliant - she emailed me back when I had queries, and we had regular reviews and meetings. She also did an extra appointment with me to help e prepare for my first coaching session and to understand the documentation involved. I now have a new Tutor that I have yet to meet, but I am sure I will get through the final part of my apprenticeship with him with no issues as I am not far off being done.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I spend all day coaching in some capacity, so this apprenticeship has helped me greatly in being able to build relationships with my peers and customers and work with external partners to support my clients.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are serval opportunities, including the Learning Hub, opportunities to volunteer in works time and also to attend meetings to help you be a better manager or leader if you are looking to progress into those roles.

Would you recommend Reed in Partnership to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because they are a good company to work for with strong values and I have enjoyed my time with them. I left once and returned within 6 months because I liked working for them more.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Reed in Partnership?
I would advise that you are a strong person who is able to build relationships fast, are resourceful and have a flexible approach that is open to change and acting quickly.
