I am a Facilities Coordinator in two buildings, assisting the Building Manager with daily operations. My responsibilities include liaising with occupiers, preparing events to engage them, managing service providers, and helping to raise quotes to ensure a smooth and efficient environment for all.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my program to a great extent as it has equipped me with valuable team management skills. I am applying these news skills daily to effectively manage service providers, ensuring smooth operations and fostering collaboration within my team. This practical experience enhances my learning and contributes to my professional growth.

I received excellent support from my employers during the program. While participating, I successfully transitioned to a better job and company, both of which were great and supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a great deal of support from my training provider, especially from my learning partner, who has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. The platform we used was easy to navigate. Additionally, my teacher was always available to assist and was very knowledgeable, making it easier for me to work towards my qualifications effectively.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that my qualification through the training provider has significantly enhanced my performance in my role. The qualifications truly reflect how much I have learned. Initially, I faced some difficulties due to a language barrier, but as I progressed and adapted to my new role, the knowledge gained made it much easier for me to excel.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are several extra-curricular activities to get involved in at my work. We have a Volunteer Day that allows us to engage with colleagues while contributing to environmental initiatives, such as community clean-up efforts. Additionally, they organise social gatherings within my portfolio, which fosters team bonding and enhances our work environment.
