Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I also prepared monthly literature reviews for all markets (e.g., Marine), meeting with the market owners to review usage data and recommending actions (e.g., content/branding updates, revisions and obsoletions).
Other duties included order approvals, literature translations, restocks and ad-hoc projects such as asset creation.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Practically, some of the tasks I was responsible for including order approvals, compiling the data for literature reviews and procuring recommendations, collateral re-prints and shipments, raising POs, accurately recording financials, inbox management and training.

Additionally, my presenting skills have been enhanced by having the opportunity to lead meetings with both internal (comms) and external (suppliers) groups developing leadership skills.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Working online most of the time was a new experience, with the majority of the Communications Team being located over in America but this was a welcome experience to be in a role with a global reach and impact.
