Project Control - Checking budgets, headcounts, absence, sickness, etc. of various departments that are reported on at the end of the month. Also update worked hours and fighter jet flying hours weekly - as well as any other business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The further it went on, the more I enjoyed it, as my roles became more important and my knowledge base became more advanced.

Our programme was well organised on the whole. However there was a little wait for feedback on assignments sometimes.

I was happy with the level of support I received. With plenty of opportunities to communicate any grievances.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I was happy with the level of support I received. Even due to the large proximity between myself and the training provider (East Midlands to Lancashire).
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me the appropriate knowledge foundation that I have used in my roles at various points. However it is more basic information, and is usually used as a starting point for tasks that require more specific knowledge.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because as an employee, you get treated extremely well, especially compared to other jobs I have experienced. Whether that's through pay, safeguarding, training, flexible working, hybrid working, etc.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Even if in the beginning you aren't enjoying it or you think you're in a placement you don't enjoy, give it time and stick with it, because, speaking from experience, you will find one you like and all those reservations and negatives you had initially will fade.
