Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Learning about the roles within the marketing team, talking to lots of different people and gaining insight on their day to day roles. I had great discussions of how to approach jobs after graduation and I met some really great people.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

So insightful. The people I shadowed were so helpful and lovely, made me feel very at ease and were so open with their job roles and introducing me to other staff members and learning about different roles that I hadn’t even considered prior to the placement.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have expanded my knowledge of the Marketing world and seen work I would normally do at university, being put into practice which has been so interesting. I have learned so much about all the different roles within Marketing and how varied the jobs are which has made me really excited for after graduation.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

So friendly and interesting. Lovely people that made me feel comfortable straight away and were genuinely interested in getting to know me which made the experience so much easier. The company is very big but everyone is so eager to help.
