Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I think the program is structured quite well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
I feel that the qualification through the training provider is pretty irrelevant to my job role. I think that it is a very broad and generic course which gives you the ability to go down multiple career paths within the aerospace industry but the course as a whole isn't very useful for what I do.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There are very little extra curricular activities. There used to be a rugby team in the past but not anymore.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend GE Aerospace to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Its a good trade to be in, you learn a lot of useful skills, work is difficult and requires skill but you get paid well for it.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GE Aerospace?
Learn GE history and what we do, what engines we work on, what the main parts of the engines are etc. Practice spatial awareness tests, mental addition, subtraction, multiply and divide. Start documenting examples of you using engineering skills eg working on your car, making something. This will be useful in the interview.
