Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Research & Development Process Engineer for european regional projects, covering new product developments, new equipment/line commissioning, and technical assistance. Have to attend/lead project calls, pilot plant/industrial/supplier trials, trial reports & technical project documentation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The new experiences that I wouldn't have usually have been gotten involved with is a highlight.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, covering both hard and soft skills. Learned everything required as part of a technical role both inside the work place and through the degree.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

University has done well with delivering the subjects, although much of it is self-led, you have to be motivated to do well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Time has been allocated toward my degree program, although you have to manage that time as to how it suits your job role. You cannot always just take the same day every week to focus on studies. You have to be the one to go and find new experiences which will help you with your course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

University has done well with delivering the subjects, although much of it is self-led, you have to be motivated to do well. There has been additional sessions and tuition supplied to help where subjects have been difficult.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Most subjects have been beneficial to learn towards my role.
