Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
As an Apprentice I'm currently doing the PM role on my rotation. I've been given different tasks/projects such as: Training platform update; SharePoint page creation; Task tracker regular update and communication with responsible.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy meeting new people and contributing to their teams. However, it's sometimes challenging to concentrate given the uncertainty of the future and the various obstacles I've been facing. Personally, I find the lack of clarity regarding my career path a bit confusing, but I am confident that everything will work out in the end, especially with the strong support I receive from my manager.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I'm continuously studying: Cisco products; Cisco processes; Acronyms; Departments; Roles and responsibilities. Additionally, I had the opportunity to take my CAPM exam, which significantly enhanced my project management knowledge during preparation.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is organised well, we had a training period, then we had an opportunity to pass the CAPM exam; going through the shadowing; doing our rotations. However sometimes I'm struggling with having a clarity of which career path to choose and how to proceed further.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My manager is being very supportive. I feel that I can be honest and share my concerns, thoughts, plans etc.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I'm doing a lot of self-studying besides getting training from providers. Training providers have been quite good so far.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I'm pretty sure that we should never stop on self-development path. I really believe my our training, certifications will help me to perform better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We have team event activities; Time to Give activities, where we have an opportunity to meet each other.
