Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I essentially ensure that everyone in the UK&I region of Experian are kept up to date with all of our business news and work alongside my team to make Experian's working culture more enjoyable through liasing with senior leadership and creating engaging commmunications.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I can see the way my learning feeds into my role and i enjoy nurturing my photography skills and event management skills too in those aspects of my role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt a lot of new skills since leaving sixth form in 2022, I've built my writing skills, learnt more around analytics and tracking metrics as well as my interpersonal skills and strengthening my time management and prioritisation skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The college have been good, it's taught me more about independent learning and my tutor has really supported me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I've received a great amount of support and still do.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not very much, they have provided the necessary documents and video resources to help us but I think as time goes on it seems to be a bit outdated.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Much better, it took me a while to get a hang of it but I've learnt some very valuable lessons since starting.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes plenty, we have 9 Employee Resource Groups which are great networks with everyone across the business that you can connect with and I'm also a part of the Ear,y Careers programme which supports you through your first two years working here - very grateful for this.

Why?
Depending on what they're looking for, it can definitely be a place for development and really building your skills whilst having the opportunity to add value and I'm grateful I started my role fresh out of school.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Experian?
Definitely read up on roles that align to what your strengths are and make as many connections with people you know of already, LinkedIn really helps when finding out more on the people interviewing you.
