Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work on machines and have been taught how to run and program the machines, i learnt how to run them in the training school before going on placements around the different buildings in the business
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy it very much, going around different placements lets you see the different parts of the business

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I never had any experience running a machine or programming before so they are 2 new skills that i have learned as well as this i developed my CAD knowledge that i already had in the training school.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well, the first year is spent in the training school, then the placements after that are every 6 month with 1 day a week doing college

A lot from placements and apprentice managers and the apprentice support teams
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot i have a dedicated person come out to me to make sure i am on track, i also get well supported by my college teachers

I learn a lot through college and the coursework that has benefited me in my role helping me solve problems and deal with errors

there are a lot of these events all for different activities so there is something for everyone

make sure to research the company to get a better understanding of what we do before you apply and to understand what you will be doing in the role that you apply for
