Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy the management consulting programme at PwC. It is extensive and gives me lots of opportunities to develop and learn. All the managers are good at catering to the apprentice programme, understanding we learn as well as work, and the social side is fantastic.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes. During my time at PwC I have learnt many skills covering both Knowledge and behaviours, but also technical skills. These skills range from time management and presentation skills, to using excel and managing pipeline dashboards.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme is structured extremely well. We do four 6 month rotations whereby, we experience different areas of the business. This is in addition to our academic course where we have college days/workshops and sessions. Our assignments and exams are spread out well too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Support is adequate at PwC, managers are understanding and flexible with college time. Meaning they are respectful of giving us our study time. Also, we have career coaches and relationship leads to go to if we need anything in our person lives. Therefore, support is extensive at PwC
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We have bi-monthly optional drop in sessions which we can attend if we have any questions. Also we have calls on a 2 monthly basis, to have a deep dive about where we are up to.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I have learnt many skills such as proactive communication, which I can apply to my everyday role. As well as studying for a CIMA accounting certificate, which helps add context to some of my activities.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
I take part in some extra curricular activities, my most prominent one is being head of FFY socials in the Manchester office. This means I get to plan and action the social community in the office. There are lots of other extra curricular activities too.
