Overall Rating

4.4 /5

The Overall Rating is the average of all the ratings given in each category. We take those individual ratings and combine them into one final score!

4.5/5 - Overview of Role
5/5 - Skills Development
4.2/5 - Structure and Support

Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working on account teams, prepping bids, reviewing tenders, CRM hygeine.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Greatly, although no real incentive to work that hard for the first year. All senior employees who have tried to give me more responibility/new roles have been blocked by resourcing. But I do understand why and I know credibility adds up over time.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
So many it feels flippant to list some:
CRm systems
Invoicing
Tendering process
managing client relationships
managing partners/directors
RAID logs
Gantt charts
PMO
Op model work

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
very well thought through, only fault is in previous answer
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Loads, actually too much - I had to say no to/unsubscribe from a few of their support initiatives because it was just unecessary.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Loads, again can't fault them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
It doesn't. They get me a qualification. So far it's the day to day job at my employer that has given me basically all my knowledge and experience that seems in any way useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
More than I can name in 50 words - if you want it, chances are it exists. Not that I do them...yet

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I'm a realist and very reflective/critical/constructive, I'm able to find a fault in most things if I try - I struggle at PwC to find much at all
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
They're amazing - if you're smart, like working with other smart people, have decent social skills, and are willing to put in time and effort, they'll take you most places you want to go.
