Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Actioning customer requests, managing risks, diary management, attending meetings, holding fraud calls with customers, dealing with internal and external stakeholders, data management.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme can be very rewarding and can help in reflecting on how you have handled certain situations, the programme also supports you in obtaining a chartered banker qualification which gives you a rounded overview of banking in a digital age.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Microsoft 365 skills, general knowledge of banking, customer service skills, presentation skills, time management.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The structure of the programme is not that good and sometimes their is confusion between the bank and the apprenticeship provider meaning deadlines are not always met or expectations are not set accordingly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
They do support you with regular check in to ensure that you are on top of your apprenticeship work and if you need any examples for your apprentice work. However the dedicated learning time is often interrupted due to the amount of work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My training provider were good at holding interactive zoom calls to help apprentices understand the content. My coach was very good throughout. However the hub was not easy to navigate to locate all of our learning content and some of the content was outdated or incorrect.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The qualification is mainly reflective statements which personally i feel do not support me in delivering customer service... however the chartered banker qualification has been really useful to my role as it has helped me to understand the basics.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Lots of networking events which can help you meet like minded people. Sports teams are not available though which is a shame. Team work activities are occasional.
