Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Producing manufacturing schedules, and reviewing performance at both junior plant level, and senior management levels. Interacting with both demand planning and manufacturing to develop a longer term development plan in order to best utilise plant assets whilst maintaining product availability. This is the 4th rotation I have completed.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme brings a great level of challenge, and development, whilst maintaining a great workplace environment, providing support to help personalise the programme to the student to ensure comfort in the workplace. I think this is especially prevalent due to the nature of the course, often being a starting place in a corporate career

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As a general rule the programme is well run, well presented and structured to ensure good flow. There is opportunity to extend the awareness of the programme to ensure the structuring includes more colleagues
How much support do you receive from your employer?

As an individual it is easy to get lost in the business, and move into teams with a lack of understanding of the apprenticeship structure. The support system depends on specific individuals who have shown care and interest in the apprenticeship process, rather than being integrated to the business
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel very little support from my training provider, unless I reach out. When reaching out for support, the received help is still limited, however tends to be sufficient
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe the qualification content provides a significantly helpful base knowledge to perform in my role, however, as learning is theory based, and tends to be based on best practice, this is not always applicable to the workplace due to the scale and processes already in place at the workplace. Therefore, a lot of the best practice is not implementable within the workplace
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are numerous forums extending through the business, across varying topics, including: DE&I, Charity fundraising opportunities, varying religious groups. On top of this, there are a couple of casual sporting teams, however, these are challenging to find as they are not well advertised and therefore have a habit of becoming a unique group with no way in

Why?
For the most part, the colleagues that work there are incredible friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The environment is inherently positive, with only a few negative members of teams. Everyone is focused on colleagues happiness and well-being and everyone is willing to lend a helping hand
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mondelez?
Be honest, be yourself, and be positive! The business is very people focused, and being adaptable, flexible and willing to learn are the key characteristics!
