I get treated with much respect from my colleagues and I am trusted with managing crucial aspects of a project. This allows me to remain responsible for my workload which contributes to my professional and personal development.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed all of my work placements and enjoy working with my colleagues. The work I undertake always has meaning which is good for motivation. I am given the opportunity to work in different areas and towards different knowledge skills and behaviours.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have heavily developed my communication skills as well as time management and personal responsibility. I have also also improved my reflection skills which has allowed me to highlight my strengths and areas to improve on.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship is well organised as there is a clear structure on development and university. Recently, more clarification has been put onto knowledge, skills and behaviour development.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a massive amount of support from our employer in terms of personal and professional development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

BAE Systems provides a massive amount of support to its apprentices and there are numerous people to contact in the company if I require support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

To an extent, I believe the qualification helps me to perform in my role, however most of my learning is done throughout the workplace and sometimes it is not clear where the university lessons can be applied to the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a variety of social activities at work - I engage in badminton and attend all organised socials. Social events are regularly organised and can involve activities such as bowling.
