My role is to assist in the planning, testing and completion of audits for Asset Management companies. I interact in person, via calls and emails with both clients, the audit team, and our wider company to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

In some instances the apprenticeship can be showcasing the skills I have and have learnt. Sometimes it can feel a bit repetitive in discussing what I have done, alongside doing this with my company in appraisal meetings.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a range of existing skills such as problem solving, communication and proactivity. In addition, I have learnt new skills of maintaining professional scepticism and ethics within my role.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has been structured to gain the understanding of what is required in the first nine months, to go on to demonstrating these skills and behaviours from this point onwards. After completing a level 4 apprenticeship, this does feel like a long time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer allows time to attend apprenticeship webinars and time off to focus on skills and behaviours submissions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Courses, recaps and revision courses are provided, alongside further practice questions and guidance. This can be tricky to get through all content provided alongside working as well, particularly when having to travel to the centres.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification helps understand the detail behind audits we complete alongside demonstrating the skills and behaviours required in the workplace.

There are many social activities to get involved in at a department, office or firm level. This can include things such as BBQs, sports activities and professional networking meetings and catch ups.
