Checking various company financial statements and looking into the figures that make up the accounts. We also work in large teams so are consistently communicating with teammates
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme even though it is challenging with Exams but at Mazars there is an exceptional work life balance.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of new skills and have been exposed to so many different areas of the audit including looking at Revenue, Expenditure and Payroll.

My apprenticeship has clear steps I need to reach in the short and long term this is clearly shown to us as apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

BPP are very good in some areas but also a bit disappointing in others, but the content and classes put on are very helpful
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It gives you a great understanding of not just audit and also gives you a deeper understanding in the work you do.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are endless things taking place outside of work such as football as well as a monthly social where we have done things such as watch the T20 to even some like Ninja warrior.

Why?
Mazars are leading global audit network, that has a great work life balance which enables you to focus on exams when need. You really get put in at the deep end but it really does pay dividends when you look back.

Just be yourself and put time into understanding the company
