Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a solutions architect apprentice my role comprises training across the entire secure power portfolio, making technical selections, going to customer sites and meetings, identifying the best solutions, doing technical comparisons, using our customer experience center (demo room for our products) etc...
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed the moments where I am able to get out for site visits, as well as company wide events and seeing our products in use and in person allowing me to get a better understanding and appreciation for how they work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to write up site visit reports, teamworking, problem resolution, data analysis via company software, product selection using data

A great amount of support, suggestions are taken on board and questions are always answered.

Out of 10 I would say 7. There are elements that are useful and elements that don't completely relate but the overall qualification is in line with my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are a lot! We have an apprentice committee which I am a part of and there are other company groups you can join with different causes/aims etc...

Why?
Its a very diverse company both work wise and demographically. There are a lot of opportunities to do things you haven't done before and grow yourself as an individual as well as collaborating with others you can learn from. Overall, company culture is great and you are well looked after.
