My role as Public sector sales apprentice means that I start and close all of the deals I work on are are the first point of contact for customers. I do a lot of cold calling, relation building and teams calls with customers.

I don't believe the qualification in it's self has mush value. But the experience you receive and working at starting off at Softcat is the most valuable thing about this apprenticeship.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are but I have not signed up yet. As after a long day all I want to do is go to the gym and go to sleep

Because it is an amazing company and a brilliant place to start your career
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Softcat?
Just be your self, I think in sales they look for the less academic people with great skills as my job consist of talking to people and building relationships
