My day to day role involves analysis of qualitative and quantitative colleague and customer data to provide insight to help drive positive change.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm really enjoying the ability to learn new skills that are essential to my role and being able to push myself further. Its challenging yet rewarding and provides a real sense of purpose and achievement.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am learning more than ever! From getting the most out of Excel to finding ways to analyse sentiment using Python and PowerBI, there are always to develop myself and take my skills to the next level.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

On the whole, I feel the programme is well-structured with a logical progression through the courses although I would like to have had a face to face event right at the start so that I could get to know my peers better before completing any of the online courses.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager has been fantastic in supporting me and giving me the time I need to learn and grow throughout my Apprenticeship and in making sure I can apply my learning to my role. There is also a strong support network right across the Bank.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The online learning portal provides a safe place to practice and increase confidence. There is also a good mix of learning materials such as videos, online tutorials, test systems, and tutor support. You are expected to manage your time effectively and keep on top of everything but you only get out what you put in!
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As someone who is new to the role, it has increased my confidence greatly and is empowering me to do my job to the best of my ability but also to share my knowledge and learning with those around me and across the wider business.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are professional network events and awards to get involved in and plenty of activities locally to join in with, however I haven't been involved in any of these yet.

It's a good idea to get a feel for the wider business and think about what you want your career journey to look like. There are a lot of options so think about what you're likely to enjoy and where you can make the biggest impact. Being able to adapt to change and develop skills of the future is also crucial to success.
