My role is to support and facilitate the development and learning of young children in their early years. This involves creating a stimulating and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
I work closely with children to help them develop their language and communication skills, as well as their physical and motor skills. I also support their social skills by encouraging positive interactions with their peers and helping them to build relationships with others.
Additionally, I work collaboratively with parents and other professionals to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and that they are receiving the appropriate support and guidance. I also keep track of each child's progress and development, assessing their learning and adjusting my teaching methods accordingly.
Overall, my role as an early years practitioner is to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

As a participant in the early years practitioner course, I can say that I truly enjoy the program. I find it to be informative, engaging, and very hands-on.
One of the things I enjoy most about the program is the practical aspect of it. We are often given opportunities to work directly with children in real-life early years settings, which allows us to put our learning into practice and gain valuable experience. This hands-on approach not only makes the coursework more enjoyable, but it also helps to solidify our understanding of early years education.
Additionally, I appreciate the variety of topics covered in the program. From child development and play-based learning to safeguarding and professional behavior, the course covers a wide range of important subjects that are essential for aspiring early years practitioners to know. This comprehensive approach ensures that we are well-prepared for a career in early years education.

My tutor is supportive and informative of any questions, feedback she has to offer and I feel like I am learning a lot. The modules are well-structured and the assignments are clearly outlined. The resources provided are also very helpful in aiding my learning. Overall, I would say that my programme is well-organised and structured.

My employer provides me with a good amount of support in terms of resources, training, and guidance. They also encourage open communication and feedback, which helps me feel supported in my role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have found that the support provided by my training provider has been instrumental in my success in my early years qualifications. The regular feedback on my progress and assessments has helped me to understand where I need to improve and where I excel. Additionally, the individual support I have received when struggling with certain topics or assignments has been invaluable in helping me overcome challenges.

Yes, at our setting we offer a range of extra-curricular activities for children to participate in, such as dance classes, sports clubs, storytelling sessions, and arts and crafts workshops. We also organize special events and outings to enhance the children's learning experiences and have fun together. Our goal is to provide a holistic and enriching environment for the children in our care.
