I am only two thirds into my first year (out of three years), but so far nothing in the degree has been directly used within my role. I reckon this will change as the courses by the training provider advance.

The company is professional, development focussed and driven. You have your own freedom for independent working and organising your own time, but you also have a great support system and opportunities to discuss your learning and development.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?
Something to consider:
Depending on the nature of the apprenticeship, a degree apprenticeship is very different from a normal degree. In a highly academic subject you won't use your degree learnings as often as you think, as this is more theoretical work and the real life application is different.
