Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My main responsibilities are monitoring the inbox, arranging meetings, taking minutes and processing invoices. I also do some liaising with customers and partners. I support my commissioning colleagues in all that they do and provide help where I can across the Housing directorate.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my apprenticeship as I am learning whilst earning and also gaining valuable connections along the way that may help me in the future. My tutor is also really helpful and nice and is happy to help me at any time.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my communication skills in a professional setting. I have gained valuable knowledge about finance and business as well as housing commissioning. I have also developed my IT skills as I have to use several different platforms to do my job.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is very well organised with regular catch ups with my tutor we set out the next months batch of work to complete and I can ask to add more assignments throughout the month if I have completed all the tasks early.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer regular has apprentice meet ups and we can take up to 6 hours a week to complete our studies. My line manager is also very helpful.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have monthly catch ups with my tutor and have quarterly meeting with my tutor and my line manager so that they can gauge whether I have adequate support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I think the source material I have access to through the programme is really helpful for my role as it comes from reputable places and I can easily apply it to my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Not that I am aware of but there are opportunities that are regularly promoted by HR
