Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role mainly involves support on a tech transformation project working with a client. I spend most of my time on client site supporting the wider PwC team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot. I valued the resourcing team taking my preferences into consideration when finding a project to find something that fit me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many soft and hard skills on my placements. I have become more confident working with a client and developed key technical skills needed.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured due to the wide support network offered by PwC. I have clear contacts of who to contact if I have any issues and these are always on hand to support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support to guide me on my project. I have a career coach, buddy and many other points of contact I can speak to if I require support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from both my training provider and PwC. The connection between the two is strong and this means it is a seamless transition from PwC to the university life.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps alot with the technical skills required in my role. It helps to develop my confidence in the use of different software and technologies.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Lots. I am a part of the charity team helping to organise different charity events. I am a part of the student recruitment team helping to spread knowledge of the different programmes that PwC offer.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
Be yourself. Its important to not try to act like someone you aren't. Its important to be a team player who works well with other people towards a common goal.
