Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

during my time completing the apprenticeship my day to day role including speaking to customers about arrears on their mortgages and coming to suitable arrangements and plans with them to support them. This involved reviewing income and outgoings with customers and discussing options over the phone and setting these up on the account.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the program a lot. Being new to the company it got me involved with the team as a whole and put me out their more as their were various parts of the apprenticeship that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I also met new people during the program which I enjoyed.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I learnt multiple skills during the apprenticeship. I also gained a lot of knowledge on financial services as a whole sector. I will able to use these within the working day by utilising it in conversations I had with customers. My written skills were also improved during the apprenticeship, learning how to structure big pieces of work

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship was well structured. I had time scheduled out of my day to complete the apprenticeship work. It fitted in well with the daily job role as there were times when I may have needed to move the time around for specific activities including the charity work which I was able to do.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer was very supportive. My managers were supportive of what I needed to complete for the apprenticeship. They allowed me time off of the phone to complete the work and take the exams. They also were supportive when I needed evidence of what I had done and other peoples opinions on it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I had good support from the training provider with the apprenticeship. I had regular calls booked in to check in with how i was getting on and to provide feedback to me. There were also seminars that I attended to expand my knowledge which were provided from the training provider.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like the qualification has helped me within the role, it has also helped me progress into new roles with the skills and knowledge that I learnt from the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship meant I had to get involved with the department as a whole and not just the specific team which expanded my confidence.
