Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I started with Early careers recruitment doing assessment centres, admin, career fairs and helping at events. I have now moved on to colleague experience where I manage our professional studies programmes as well as social impact for the UK.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed getting to experience a range of events within HR and the early careers such as our diversity events, running inductions, attending award ceremonies and careers fairs. I have also enjoyed managing projects for the first time such as social impact, levy gifting, Early careers apprenticeships and more.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my administrative skills, my formal writing, networking, public speaking and project management skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As the first HR apprentice I feel as though my programme could have been better organised within HR, however, my overall apprenticeship programme including other apprentices has been we organised with informative sessions and coffee roulette with our senior leaders.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been very supportive with both my career progression and my professional studies.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

coaching call every 6 weeks and webinars around 2 times a month.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Yes, it provides me with a greater understanding of not only my role but others in HR.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there is a wide variety of BRG to join or sports clubs. I myself have joined the netball team. We also have groups such as the Social Impact ambassadors and Wellbeing ambassadors.
