Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves navigating through the entirety of HR and learning about all the differences processes involved. I am currently in recruitment, managing and attending schools outreach in the form of events such as careers fairs. We use careers fairs to promote all the schemes we have to offer and to hopefully interest young people to apply. I also attend many meetings regarding new ways to outreach and different events.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love my scheme and I have enjoyed every aspect of it so far. From the studying to the in work challenges. I have been pushed to succeed and step out of my comfort zone whilst on the scheme which has helped me develop massively.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed new skills in Xcel and become more comfortable whilst using it. My stakeholder management has improved massively along with my confidence and communication.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Extremely organised. My scheme is well planned out from start to finish and I have a clear overview of what is required of me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a huge amount of support. I have a sponsor who is incredible alongside a buddy who is another apprentice in the year above who is there as a familiar face to offer support. I also get support from my placement managers, this is done by regular catch ups and well-being checks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a great amount of support and I feel comfortable to always approach them to ask for any assistance I may need.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification quite often links in with my current role. I learn a lot about how different organisations work which allows me to link back to TfL.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
there are many social activities that happen within TfL. There are apprentice socials alongside an entire HR department social.
