I am on rotation through the digital cyber security function. Currently, I am working in digital intelligence as an intelligence analyst.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is highly enjoyable and engaging. I am provided many opportunities to explore the topics that I am interested in.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Threat modelling, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, penetration testing, networks, agile, a variety of soft skills, education and culture.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very organised. We have a rotation plan to rotate through the business to ensure coverage of ALL KSB’s
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have a robust support network from my team and manager. The university also provide support where needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It is unrivalled. Email and phone support and most hours of the day.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

personally, the qualification has not provided much value to my work. I have learnt industry standard concepts and practices in the work place that benefit the degree more rather than vice versa.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are quarterly social events in the early careers network. Teams often to team building and meals to integrate and socialise.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
You should try make it to the office to make your face known, ask for opportunities to join projects, ask for support when needed and don’t be afraid to say your current work doesn’t correlate with your future aspirations and want to complete projects in line with them.
