Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an apprentice, no 2 days are the same. the overview of what the day involved:
- Greeting the team when coming in.
- Checking through inbox/ planning for the day ahead. ( Making a list of what I need to complete and highlight any important meetings)
- Attending meetings/completing apprentice work throughout the day.
- preparations for the daily 121s and catchups that I have booked in.
- Checking through emails.
- Reflection on previous 121s and tidy up any notes made and send to line manager.
- Having to complete monthly reporting tasks.
- having a lunch break and catching up with apprentices.
- completing tasks the rest of the day / going through documents that the team send over and making any notes if needed.
preparation for any upcoming apprentice workshops.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy the Apprenticeship programme. The team that I came into are so invested in developing me as a person and are very invested in accommodating anything that I may need help with. The apprentice PDE continue to ensure that you are always 110% by having daily catchups alongside your line manager. They recognise you for your progress and also are very in-depth with what to improve on. I receive everlasting support from my team in developing me from a professional aspect.

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The best way to put it is, you will be regularly updated with any updates that you have in your apprenticeship programme. I always can easily plan ahead knowing when and what I am doing within the programme. If I do need assistance, I can reach out to the PDE but also they reach out to me too and confirm if the meetings are in my diary.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive endless support from my employer. They are always big on progress and there is always very little to make improvement on. The employer always mentions personal tips as opposed to business tips which are more beneficial and show how supportive they really are.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider always mentions during every call to give them a message or a call if I need any help. They also stay behind after the apprentice sessions in case we need any further help or need something explaining. The training provider are also invested in furthering developing you as a person by creating a bond and getting to know you as a person rather than trying to get you through the apprentice program.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has a lot of transferrable knowledge and provides tips to assist you to perform better in your role. An example of this would be presentation skills. Before the programme, I struggled with delivering a presentation and not knowing how to keep the audience engaged. Learning through the apprenticeship modules and assistance from training provider has given me tips and helped me developed into delivering a presentation, whilst also keeping the audience engaged.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

When you join as a apprentice, there are loads of extra- curricular activities that you can get involved in. Examples are:
- Network groups ( Faith groups, LGBTQ group and EDN network)
- sports team ( Football, touch rugby, golf)
- Investing groups
- team nights out
- Annual Kick off ( Whole company gets together at 1 venue to celebrate and go through year overview )
