I am learning the basics skills of my role in college before moving into the workplace.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have found the programme very enjoyable, and have found the instructors and other apprentices to be friendly.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a variety of fabrication and welding skills, which I had no experience of before.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Having a full year in college before moving into the workplace makes it much easier to learn basic skills and knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a good amount of support from our employer, with a manager in college a couple days a week. Considering we're just at college, this seems more than enough.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We have a structured programme to work towards our exams

We are reviewed often to develop our skills and knowledge.

There are no official extra-curriculars, but some people have formed sports teams ect outside of college.

It's been a supportive and useful apprenticeship which has helped me learn new skills and move into the workplace.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Babcock International Group?
I would highly recommend applying for Babcock, just do your best in the interview and if you get the job, try your hardest with the work
