Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
A digital user experience degree apprentice. Day-to-day work depends on the rotation (which included user research, content design, product design and service design). I usually attend stand-up meetings, participate in workshops related to the rotation, work on design projects in my squad and have a study day.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy it to a great extent- I am able to develop my technical and soft skills and can expand my comfort zone at my pace. The culture at my workplace is very accommodating aswell.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes. In personal development, I am able to practice my presentation skills at the end of my rotations projects, and communication skills on the job, in networking and work events. I also engage in collaboration in projects and squad work. Technical skills I have learnt include: product design (being able touse the Figma software), writing content, facilitating and notetaking for user research and service design.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It is well organised- at work we have a rotation structure and in uni we work in sprints.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I get weekly 1:1 meetings with my manager to talk about my progress and am able to easily ask them for help. My manager also provides feedback on my uni work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider gives a lot of avenues for support in uni work- such as the tutors, study skills team, library team etc
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Learning the theory allows me to practice it at work and understand the different aspects of the design process in depth
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
