Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Doing University full time throughout the term and then completing placements with PwC over the summer. Day to day I work in a team delivering data insights for clients through SQL and Python.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Very much. It was a great way to make friends on what can be a lonely course because of how many people do software.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I am getting a software engineering degree through my apprenticeship and I have learnt a lot through this.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structured. Keeping uni and work separate allows for complete focus on any task set in uni or work and avoids stress trying to balance them both.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Support throughout uni and a career coach at work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A decent amount of support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I wouldn't be able to do the work I get without my degree, it is crucial to the job and incredibly useful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Plenty of teams and events are always being held. I was part of the netball team and I volunteer at a lot of student recruitment events.
