Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Daily stand ups within a scrum team to coordinate efforts towards delivering value to a client. Work can include product management office and technical work involving SQL / python. Work is sometimes internal, or for demos to win more work or for a client. I am responsible for delivering a small technical section of a larger project
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy it and find that everyone is very nice and supportive. Very glad I went here instead of uni.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Developed many new skills including both soft skills such as how to work in a corporate environment and how to use tools and technologys like github as well as being allowed to do more formal training like microsoft certs. These are provided by the company and provide a wide range

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Pretty well structured - structured training and intro but once in the office is more up to you to find opportunities and there aren't always relevant opportunities as its consulting.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support. I have a career coach who checks in every 2 weeks and cares about me and will always help as well as a buddy who helped me settle in and has recommendations in order to get the most out of the job. Support for different pronouns and neurodiversitys
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Loads - resourcers will try and put you on projects where you can show the desired skills and career coaches are trained on what our program entails. Company also fully supports other professional qualifications
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Work definatly moves faster then my training provider meaning I often learn stuff at work before via my qualification. However this acts as a good oppotunity to formalise what I've learn and put it into a standard recognised form and learn the more theoretical side compare to the practical work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Lots of socials especially if you get to know the right people, a larger number of societies and spaces but officially the choice is somewhat limited.
