Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I mainly help out in any tasks that is required of me. However i do get a say in the type of task i want to do in order to boost my career.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Its great but i'm not really too smart so also quite challenging. The tech industry is slowly getting saturated and known as 'money industry' so there is a lot of competition to perform. The team however is always so supportive and they are great at treating you as both apprentices and actual employees of the company

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Tableau , PowerBi, excel, microsoft azure and of course soft skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is organised very simply which allows you to not worry about anything too complicated. They always tell you what you need to do and when whether uni or work. Worst case scenario you can just check your contract for information on what your supposed to be doing
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
We receive support from everyone in the company not just the employer. Also we have buddies and support from people in work when we are in uni vice versa.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Again we receive as much support as we want. Simply just ask and they are willing to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The modules we do in this apprenticeship is clearly tailored to my future goals. Depending on what you want to do in the future it may or may not be tailored to you
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
ALOT. They are constantly things to do: bowling , football, clubbing , networking, comedy nights i've done them all. To be honest even if work didn't organise them we as apprentices normally just go out to have fun

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
apart from degree apprenticeships benefits. The company is clearly designed for young people starting their career. This isn't just apprentices i'm talking about. The people in the company are generally quite young which is great for networking and making good friends. They are friendly , nice people
