Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I assist the project managers around me on the projects they work on alongside with assisting the senior portfolio leads on portfolio management tasks. I am also currently running my own project where I am managing my own project team and driving the project tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really do enjoy my programme. However the start of the programme where there was minimal communication was quite frustrating as I wouldve liked more information and communication.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use work, excel PowerPoint more confidently and have started to learn how to use MS project. I have also gained a lot of confidence from having to interact with more senior members of staff and even just the people i work with day to day.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

In terms of what I do in my day to day job, it is very organised and structured. My apprenticeship programme is structured however they have just changed the whole exam and scrapped the other one and there is now minimal information around the new one.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive endless support from my employer. My manager ensures we have frequent 121s to talk about my progress and what I can do further. My manager and my mentor also always make themselves available for me if and when I need any help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I do receive support from my training provider however maybe more frequent 121s would be beneficial especially when writing my case studies as sometimes i need some guidance on how to write them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps me in the sense that it gives me some base knowledge around the principles of project management but some of the things I learn or we talk about is not relevant to my role so wouldn't help me perform better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have done some volunteering. However I haven't heard about any extra-curricular activities.

I like the company as everyone is very friendly and I think it is a very good company to work for.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Computacenter?
I would tell them to do their research on the role they want to go into and do some background reading on the company before going to the interview and applying
