there are certain terms and legislations i am aware of which i wasnt before learning them in the qualification.
certain things which i don't do in my everyday role that other departments do - its good to have a wider knowledge of the business and industry
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

lots of networking events, socials, sports teams, graduate meet ups, instagram community and social media team to get involved with, volunteering, public speaking. you can get involved with so many opportunities and put yourself out there
